Properties:
Isothiazolinones is composed of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-thiazoline-3-ketone (CMI) and 2-methyl-4-thiazoline-3-ketone (MI). The bactericidal effect of isothiazolinones is carried out through breaking the bond between bacteria and algae protein. When contacting with microbes, isothiazolinones can quickly inhibit their growth, thus leading to death of these microbes. Isothiazolinones has strong inhibition and biocidal effects on ordinary bacteria, fungi and alga, and has many advantages such as high biocidal efficiency, good degradation, no residual, safety in operation, good compatibleness, good stabilization, low cost in operation.
Isothiazolinones can mix with chlorine and most of cations, anions, and non-ionic surfactants. When used at high dosage, its biological slime removing effect is excellent.
Isothiazolinones is a kind of bactericide with properties of broad spectrum, high efficiency, low toxicity and non-oxidation. It is the ideal bactericide in industrial circulating cooling water system and in wastewater treatment in oilfield, papermaking, pesticide, cutting oil, leather, detergent and cosmetics, etc.

Note: 2%, 4% and 8% or any concentration can be supplied according to your demands.

Usage:
When used as sludge stripper for grade II, the concentration of 150-300mg/L is preferred, when used as bactericide, the concentration of 80-100mg/L is preferred, and charges every 3-7 days. It can be used together with oxidative bactericide such as chlorine, but can’t be used in cooling water system containing sulfide. When using together with quaternary amine, the effect will be better. When used as industrial fungicide, the concentration is generally of 0.05-0.4%.

Package and Storage:
200L plastic drum, IBC (1000L), or as customers’ requirement. Storage for ten months in shady room and dry place.

Safety Protection:
It is corrosive. Avoid contact with eyes of skin. Wear safety goggles and rubber gloves. In case of contact, rinse with plenty of water.
